Newthex Sliding Doors Commissioned on Superyacht

Newthex’s service team recently commissioned a set of electric-operated weathertight sliding doors on board a newly built superyacht in Europe.

The doors provide a wide panoramic opening to the lounge area at the aft of the yacht. The frame sits flush in the deck, ensuring safe accessibility without any raised obstacles. The doors are delivered with glass and fully painted.

 

These sliding doors come with additional safety features, such as radar-controlled opening and closing and safety edges. When fully opened, the doors have minimal impact on the static windows next to them, allowing light to pass through and maintaining visibility.

These RINA-certified doors have now been successfully commissioned in Europe, along with several other Newthex products onboard this superyacht.
